Directions: By car
If you are coming from freeway A2,
please use the exit AS Magdeburg Zentrum and go on Magdeburger Ring (B71) towards Halberstadt; exit Zentrum Nord (B1) and turn left on B1 towards Burg. Then you drive straight ahead through the tunnel and follow the B1 until the next traffic light. Turn right into "Gustav-Adolf-Straße" that turns into "Jakobstraße". At the second traffic light make a turn to the right into "Julius-Bremer-Straße" and pass "Weitlingstraße". After a few minutes you will reach our car park.
If you are coming from freeway A14,
please use the exit AS Magdeburg-Sudenburg and go on Magdeburger Ring (B71) towards Stendal. Take the exit towards Central Station, keep left at the fork, continue on "Maybachstraße" and follow the signs for Central Station. Turn slightly right into "Ernst-Reuter-Allee" an go through the tunnel. At the 3rd traffic light turn left into "Jakobstraße". After 350 meters turn left at the next traffic light into "Julius-Bremer-Straße" and pass Weitlingstraße. After a few minutes you will reach our car park - Welcome to Hotel Ratswaage.
Attention: from 08.05.2023 "Julius-Bremer-Straße" will become a one-way street at the height of our parking/turning loop. You can only leave our parking/turning loop in westerly direction and access to the hotel can only be made as described.
Directions: By foot from the main station
Leave the main station at exit “Willi-Brandt-Platz”. Go through the City Carré until you reach the exit “Ernst Reuter Allee”. Pass the traffic light left hand in to the “Otto-von-Guericke-Straße”. After 280m you turn right in to the “Julius-Bremer-Straße”. Go 450m straight on, pass Karstadt shopping centre and pass the next crossing – Welcome to Hotel Ratswaage.
Directions: By public transportation from main station
Due to ongoing road works in the city center, the tram routes change regularly.
Please ask at the main station or give our reception staff a call to find out the current routes to the nearest station.
You will find a ticket vending machine directly in the tramway. The current price is 1.60 € (April 2022). The “Kurzticket” (short distance ticket) is valid for one adult for up to 3 stops.
