Directions: By car from 31.03.2025
If you are coming from freeway A2,
please use the exit AS Magdeburg Zentrum and go on Magdeburger Ring (B71) towards Halberstadt; exit Zentrum Nord (B1) and turn left on B1 towards Burg.
Option 1:
Then you drive straight ahead through the tunnel and follow the B1 until the next traffic light. Turn right into "Gustav-Adolf-Straße" that turns into "Jakobstraße". At the second traffic light make a turn to the right into "Julius-Bremer-Straße" and pass "Weitlingstraße". After a few minutes you will reach our car park.
Option 2:
At the traffic circle “Universitätsplatz” take the first exit and follow “Erzbergstraße” to the second set of traffic lights. Turn left into the street “Am Krökentor”. At the next set of traffic lights, cross “Breiter Weg” and follow “Große Steinernetischstraße”. At the first junction, turn right into “Weitlingstraße”. Then turn right again into “Julius-Bremer-Straße”. After a few minutes you will reach our car park.
If you are coming from freeway A14,
please use the exit AS Magdeburg-Sudenburg and go on Magdeburger Ring (B71) towards Stendal. Then take the exit in the direction of ZOB/Hauptbahnhof.
Keep left at the fork and drive through the tunnel. Follow the “Ernst-Reuter-Allee” and at thethird set of traffic lights turn left into “Jakobstraße”. After approx.. 350 meters, turn left at zthe next set of traffic lights into “Julius-Bremer-Straße” and pass “Weitlingstraße”. After a few meters you will reach our car park.
ATTENTION: From 28.03.2026, the junction of Breiter Weg and Julius-Bremer-Straße will be completely closed. You will only be able to leave our parking/turning area heading east, and access to the hotel will only be possible as described.
Directions: By foot from the main station
Leave the main station at exit “Willi-Brandt-Platz”. Go through the City Carré until you reach the exit “Ernst Reuter Allee”. Pass the traffic light left hand in to the “Otto-von-Guericke-Straße”. After 280m you turn right in to the “Julius-Bremer-Straße”. Go 450m straight on, pass Karstadt shopping centre and pass the next crossing – Welcome to Hotel Ratswaage.
Directions: By public transportation from main station
Due to extensive construction work around the Alter Markt, there are currently regular changes to the Magdeburg Transport Authority’s route network. Please enquire about the latest connections at the main station or check in advance at www.mvbnet.de.
You will find a ticket vending machine directly in the tramway. The current price is 2.00 € (January 2026). The “Kurzticket” (short distance ticket) is valid for one adult for up to 3 stops.
